Uriel Sandkovsky, MD, MS, FIDSA
Infectious Diseases ConsultantDr. Sandkovsky joined North Texas Infectious Diseases Consultants in 2018. He completed his Infectious Diseases Training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He then served as Associate Professor of Medicine/Infectious Diseases and Medical Director of Occupational Health, at University of Nebraska Medical Center 2009-2018. Dr. Sandkovsky completed medical school in Argentina in 1999 and trained in Internal Medicine at Hospital Pirovano in Buenos Aires. He also completed Internal Medicine training at St Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York. Dr. Sandkovsky holds a Master of Science from UNMC in Clinical and Translational Research.
Dr. Sandkovsky has extensive experience in the care and management of immunocompromised patients including solid organ transplant patients, patients with HIV and patients with advanced cardiac device infections. He has served as primary and sub investigator in clinical trials. Dr. Sandkovsky is married with 2 children. He loves spending time with his family, playing tennis and soccer, and enjoys cooking Argentinian food.
